Our Riverside Chalets and Suites have the largest glass-front, looking out onto the Indus River, Shey Palace and with bathroom views out onto Stok Kangri
Open 25th April to October 10th
Our 40-acre natural riverside sanctuary is just 20 minutes drive from the airport
8 glass-fronted rooms sit on the banks of the Indus, capturing a panoramic view of the river and the local monasteries. The remaining space is kept natural and sympathetic to wildlife. One private villa sits in the middle of the land with a private pond, a bathtub with mountain views, a kitchen, living area and roof terrace.
The property, on the outskirts of Leh and close to local monasteries, offers a great base for exploring Ladakh, whilst staying in nature.
By day, explore the grounds, hike locally, visit neighbouring monasteries and palaces, take in local culture or go rafting, trekking, cycling, or motorbiking. Or pick a book from our well-curated library and read to the sound of flowing water.
In the evening, we take guests for a riverside sunset walk, after which the Milky Way becomes visible to the naked eye. Sit out under the open sky by the warmth of an open fire and look out at the moon and planets through our camp telescope
FOOD
We recognise the importance of tasty, health-conscious food on holiday.
We create innovative set-menus, focussing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with contemporary cooking techniques.
OUR VALUES
We run our camp on principles of equality.
We ask that our guests remain polite to all staff and guests, regardless of nationality, caste or religion.
The land is a large space, home to a variety of wildlife. We aim to preserve the natural environment, as well as the peace and sense of seclusion that our guests seek.
