Riverside Cabins Designed for Privacy with Mountain Views

Our two Riverside Cabins are designed for warmth and privacy, with views of the Indus River, Shey Palace and the Himalayan mountain range from the bedroom. Each cabin gives you 260 square feet of interior space and a 25-square-foot verandah. The two sit close to one another, so they work well for a group of friends, or a family, who want to be nearby. They are framed between willow trees, which give shade through the day.

The cabins and the cottages are at a similar price point: the cabins have the larger interior, while the cottages have the larger verandah. The bed can be set up as a twin or a queen (72 × 78 inches), and the room comes with a writing desk, high-quality bed linen, quilts and eco-conscious hotel amenities. The bathroom has a shower, with hot water from our solar panels, backed up for the colder months.

Like all our rooms, the cabins have electric blankets and fans, and are insulated to hold their heat in winter and stay cool in summer. They are built mostly from sun-baked mud bricks, glass and wood, locally sourced from the surrounding area. The river and its birdsong are within earshot throughout.
