Private Villa with Kitchen, Rooftop Terrace & Bathtub

The Villa is our largest and most secluded accommodation, the most private spot on our 40-acre land. It is not riverside; instead it faces its own flower garden, a private pond and the mountain range, a short walk from the river.

A comfortable bedroom, a large living room, a kitchen and a bathroom make up 1,000 square feet of space. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower, along with a washing machine. The living area holds a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, large comfy sofas and a dining table.

Insulated against the cold and warmed by a Trombe wall, the villa stays comfortable through the seasons. It has electric blankets and fans, and its hot water is heated by solar panels, with backups for the coldest months.

The villa looks out onto the Ladakh and Himalayan ranges. Its rooftop terrace, set up for stargazing, overlooks a larger pond with views to the river and the night sky, as well as out to Leh, the Shanti Stupa and the Khardung La pass. Set back from the water, in the most natural setting, it gets the most birdsong.
